Ken, this song sounds great so far and it's really coming together nicely! Interesting to hear about Verse 2 being totally different from Verse 1--why do you think other composers don't do that? The verses still sound like they're related, which is probably what matters most, right? Is there some songwriting "rule" someone came up with about doing that? ;-) Have a nice week off and I'll look forward to the next episode!

I was impressed with the digital phase of that song, I am sure everything soften up with the addition with actual played instruments, very interesting use of software, I guess it’s a organization tool and saves so much time 😊 I always admire your nylon acoustic guitar, it’s a perfect pitch, do you use different tunings? Great to see and learn from you! I have a memory back when UA-cam was in its infancy, of a video you hosted, doing much the same thing as here, talking about "You are Everything" and how the multiple tracks were brought together to create that unique sound... this must have been somewhere around 2006-07... seems to have disappeared! Really wonderful to see new things coming out... we still listen all the time!

When I compose something, one of my fears is that I'll subconciously reuse a chord progession or guitar lick that I've already used before, but I can't imagine how you can possibly keep track of that huge library of sounds that YOU'VE created over the years!
